As always that was great, I hope that her attitude was only mood swings though. I hope Nick doesn't give up on her, he seems really close to it. The "Get me what I want now, or I'll never have sex with you again" was kinda low.

First off another amazing chapter! I really love how Nick is so attracted to Viola while she's pregnant. I think we all deep down inside have that insecurity about our significant other being attracted to us while we feel like a whale. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI can definitely relate to Viola insecurities of how she never really sees herself correctly. That's why I love this story. However, insecure or not I would never tell a naked Nick to get out of the tube! I would be all over that like Viola is going to be all over those Skittles!

ReplyDeleteNick is doing a real good job at showing Viola that he cares for her. Making her breakfast, running a bath, washing her & going to the store for her. I hope that my husband will do that for me someday,lol. Viola does have some issues though. I know she's not feeling the prettiest right now being pregnant and all; but I just hope that she can put that aside and realize that Nick finds her beautiful no matter what, and for him to say that she's one hot mama only confirms that he does really really love her.
The scenes that you wrote about him being horny & jacking off were interesting. It goes to show you that a man's needs never go away. I just don't see how Viola doesn't want him? I mean come on,they say during pregnancy that you're hormones are raging how can you not want sex, especially with such a gorgeous man??!! I know that she probably feels intimidated by him right now since she's 'not feeling pretty' and he is GORGEOUS but come on she has needs to!
This chapter was going good until bitchy viola showed up at the end. I understand that she is pregnant and her hormones are raging but come on that does not mean she can be a bitch to Nick, he was only trying to help her. It upsets me that he is trying to so hard and she is trying so little. All she is doing to him is being mean and closed off. I understand that she is pregnant and she probably still feels like she can't trust him but come on get over it! I hope she works on herself before the twins come, lord knows she doesn't need to victimize her relationship she has with Nick right now or else she'll end up alone again and be a single mom of 2!

ReplyDeleteI have to say that I agree with Jessica, and with Brittany. It was a fantastic chapter up until bitchy viola came back. Hormones or not, she should turn some of that angry mood swing into hot steaming sex with nick, she'll be amazed how great of a stress relief sex can be lol.
I do love the return of "Dream Viola" as you put it. It shows that even men need their fantasies every now and then when home life may be a little too much for them to handle.
I think its ironic how much the roles of each character have changed during the story. At first Viola was the timid, shy, overly nice one, and Nick was the bitchy, asshole, using her. Now however, it seems that they have both taken on the other's attitude. Viola has turned into the self-centered, bitchy, asshole, that seems to never let a grudge go, and Nick seems like he's really in love with her, and is trying to show her that he would give her and thier kids the world. Has anyone else noticed that? or is it just me?
I also agree with Nikki that all women have some sort of insecurity about themselves while being pregnant. My best friend would always call me up crying in the middle of the night because she felt inadequet compaired to her boyfriend.
I would also NEVER tell a hot nakked wet Nick to get out of the tub. I don't think I could even muster up any courage to turn him down. The very SECOND he said he wanted me my clothes would be off and I would be waiting, pregnant or not lol.
You keep me on my toes, I've never been so glued to a story before. I'm now checking out the site every day for updates so keep them coming :-).

ReplyDeleteGreat chapter!!! I was so giggly when I read this one. I'm 23 and I still cover my eyes during sex scenes in movies so reading was like watching soft porn I guess?!? But hey the folks wanted more action and less drama and that's what you gave us. I'm still shocked that Nick "beat it" like 3 three times in the same chapter LOL!.
I'm sad how Viola the ass in the story now, but at the same time I see where she's coming from. If someone treated me horrible for an extensive period of time then had some head trauma then they all of sudden are nice to me. I'd be an ass too. Keep up the great writing. I love it

ReplyDeleteIt isn't what your writing about (obviously not a boy band lover ha ha), it is the WAY you write that I love. I would read anything you wrote just to admire your writing ability. It's truly a wonderful piece of writing.
I admire the very descriptive way you write, it is truly an art form as far as I'm concerned. Not a lot of people have as much talent as you do. I'm a writer of sorts (kinda hard to explain), and love to see great writers.
Have you ever considered going in to some kind of writing for a job? I am totally sure you'd be a shoe in for some kind of job in writing, or maybe publishing your own book series.

ReplyDeleteJessica – Thank you for thinking part 50 was great. Viola is going through a lot of emotions with her pregnancy. She does need to work on her views on everything. I think she hasn’t seen how lucky she is. It’s good to know I’m keeping close to what a pregnancy is like since I’ve never been pregnant myself but I do know what it’s like to be walking around with a big tummy! She’s roughly 8 to 9 weeks away from her due date. I know I’m way behind on answering your e-mail but I’ll get to it soon!
ReplyDeleteNikki – Nick is crazy for pregnant Viola. I also think part of how much he’s attracted to her is how much she keeps rejecting him. It just makes him want her more since he’s used to her giving into his whims. I’m glad you can relate to Viola because I relate a lot to her too. A lot of how she thinks and reacts is a bit like me. She has a lot of guts telling a naked Nick to get out of the tub.
Brittany – The updates do seem to be getting longer and longer. Nowadays when I write I ask myself will this be enough to satisfy a readers hunger? Nick is quite the gentleman by catering to Viola. She still has a lot of issues to deal with and I don’t think they’ll go away suddenly. I think by Nick showing how much he really cares for her really helps ease her doubts about him. I’m aware of women having a tendency to be hornier while pregnant. I think Viola is horny but she doesn’t know it yet. She also feels weird about having sex while pregnant and she’s used to the Nick in the beginning really pushing for sex. Sure the Nick now wants sex but he’s not really pushing for it. When she turns him down, he just pouts and doesn’t get aggressive with her like he was in the beginning. I think she wants a bit of that but she doesn’t know how to go about getting that from him.
I decided to end the chapter the way it did to create a cliffhanger for part 51. I also thought it would be a good set up to how I ended part 51. She does have a lot to work on and we’ll just have to see if she’ll be able to sort everything out. I would hate to imagine how she would feel if she was a single mom of 2. I really hope that doesn’t happen.

Putting Dream Viola in part 50 was such a last minute decision and I’m glad I remembered to put her in because it was perfect to have her.
I’m glad you noticed the irony of how Viola and Nick’s characteristics have changed! I didn’t plan on it to be this way and it’s just how it came out. I noticed this happened a few parts ago and was wondering if someone would pick up on this. They’re still off balance and I think once they find their balance they’ll be a happy couple.
Insecurity is so tough to deal with. I go through so many insecurities. I’m always conscious about how I look and what people think of me.
I wouldn’t tell a naked Nick to get out of the tub either! Hopefully Viola will realize she has the hottest man in the world and come to take advantage of it.
Lashonda – I personally love watching sex scenes in movies when I’m by myself lol I feel awkward if I’m with other people. Soft porn, hard porn, I like it all :-D Nick is so sexually frustrated so I think he could have beat it even more. Viola’s attitude does need some adjusting but like what you said if someone treated you horrible for an extensive period of time and then got knocked in the head a couple of times and was suddenly nice that doesn’t mean you have to be nice too :-P
Nick – It is such an honor to know I have a male reader that’s straight. The last male reader I knew of was gay. I’m so used to having female readers and didn’t think any males read my writing. I’m flattered you enjoy the way I write. Everything I pour into this story is what I feel and have felt in my life. The situations in the story may not be the same but the emotions are.
I would love to write professionally someday and have my own book series. I just have to get around to writing something I can pitch to companies.
