:O :O :O :O Cudo's to Nick for standing up for her... the "At first I didn't think they were mine" comment might come to bite him in the ass later though should Viola happen to get upset about it.

I can't believe that his sisters would treat her that way. Aaron couldn't really have loved her as much as they think he does because in one chapter I remember she over heard Aaron tell his friends he gave her the job with him just in hopes of sleeping with her.

I hope Viola just sticks it out for Nick... weather his sisters like her or not, he prooved he's really in love with her, and chooses noone but her, and she should stay with him. I speak from experience when I say the rest of his family doesn't have to like you in order for you to be in complete love and happiness with someone for the rest of your lives. I hope she doesn't over react. She's close to around the time alot of women with twins end up giving birth and this kind of stress could send her into labor. I can only imagine one pissed off Nick if his sisters were the cause of something bad to happen to Viola or the babies. I think Aaron is gonna have to come in and set his sisters straight. I also think its time for Nick to have a conversation with Aaron face to face regardless of how tense he is about it. She's going to be in labor soon, and he's gonna need all he can get in the form of help. Plus Nick and Aaron in real life seem to always talk things out and work through the bad times. Aaron needs to let Viola know he's okay with everything and understands. Then I think she'll finally be able to really start having a happy and productive life with Nick.

I finally made it!

Okay after re-reading it I have mixed emotions. First off the fact that Nick is standing up for her and telling his family that he loves her is amazing! His character has come a very long long way.

Now onto the "dinner." First off I can understand the sisters being protective over him since she was with Aaron previously, but I didn't expect for all of them (except Leslie) to be rude, maybe just Angel. At any rate, their comments were pretty spot on. People say those kind of things all the time; although, I probably would've left "kim" out mainly because she really wasn't needed. It was a family dinner and granted she may be a family friend she really shouldn't have been this part of the story. I can see including her in like a club or something where he cheats on Viola or something but a family dinner...not so much.

Now onto Viola. I was very disappointed in her in this chapter. Her character, like Nicks, has come a very long way. However, she takes 2 steps forward and then takes 6 steps back. When the girls were saying mean things about her she didn't even protect herself let alone her unborn children! I understand that she was nervous, scared and full of emotions but come on! Protecting your children you have to do, even if its from their own family members. I really can't stand reading about Viola anymore if she does not change. If her character continues to be this self-pity party type of person all the time, then I won't continue to read about her. I can't stand reading the same thing over and over and over again. PLEASE change Viola. Make her grow up already, she's having twins!

Anyway please remember that I'm not criticizing you I'm just telling you how it is from a readers stand point. Hopefully you will start working on part 55 soon! Maybe you can use your Napa trip as inspiration or something. Good luck!

I think this chapter was awesome! You really got all of the tense feelings down to a T.

It would be so tense to not only tell your family, that a girl that you, and your brother were both in love with, was pregnant with your twins, but you also conveyed (sp?) the way I think most non-celebrity girlfriends would feel hearing your celebrity boyfriends family tell him you'll never be enough for him and trashing you. No matter how much they or anyone else think they're entitled to those bad comments they need to learn to keep those things to themselves. I can see Angel being upset since Aaron is her twin, but BJ and Kim absolutely not. So great job!

On the Kim thing, I think putting her in there was perfect. It gives enough of a nail biter to keep everyone wondering if Nick is going to cheat on her again (he better not I think he's on his last leg with Viola lol), but also her knowing he has kids now would make her walk away and not be interested at all. Girls like that never are, they're after the money and fame. Not him or his heart.

Nich and I are with Jessica on the whole, hope something bad doesn't happen with Viola or the twins thing. I can only imagine one very mad Nick Carter if his children or his girlfriend (hopefully soon to be wife (if he's smart) lol :D)got hurt.

I hope Aaron lets Viola and Nick both know that he's okay, and its okay that she chose Nick. I think all 3 of them need to have a united front when confronting all of his family again.

As much as Nick doesn't want to discuss how he and Viola started, and the things he did to her, I think he needs to explain that to his sisters. Just so they can see how it really was between Nick and Viola before now. That would give Viola a chance to tell them how she met Aaron and didn't put the two and two together before it was too late. That family seems to talk most things out so I hope thats whats going to happen. It would make Viola start to realize she is MORE than good enough for him.

Maybe you could use you're Napa trip (great article btw!) as some inspiration and have Nick "write" Viola a song (I was thinking #1.) "I Got You", #2.) "Do I Have To Cry For You", or #3.) "Heart Without A Home"). All of those songs make me think of Nick singing to a pregnant Viola at a concert or something lol.

Sorry for the long-ness of the comment Nich and I wanted to combine our comments so we didn't take up all your space for comments lol.

Absolutely wonderful chapter PLEASE write chapter 55 soon! We're dying over here! lol

Jessica - It's been months I've responded to Fantasy/Reality feedback that I've forgotten how to do it. I feel so bad making you wait. I did my best to gather my thoughts. I hope it all makes sense to you. (It took me days to write this :-\)

The reason I had Nick say the "At first I didn't think they were mine" line is a few parts ago he did think the twins weren't his and he told Viola either Aaron was the father or Duke was the father (the last scene in part 28 and some of part 29, I had to rewind & re-read some parts to find this info lol).

When you mentioned Aaron and his "love" for Viola, it made me realize that I've probably been subconsciously writing him as being in love with his own fantasy version of Viola in his head. That's what he's fixated on and now add that his brother Nick essentially has the object of his fantasy, it's just fueling his feelings even more. I don't see Aaron as being completely over Viola yet but we'll just have to see ;)

I hope Viola sticks it out for Nick too. They've been through a crazy ride of emotions. Viola does have a lot of love for Nick. She loved him when he was an asshole and she loves him for who he is now. One of her main issues is accepting the new emotionally open Nick. She's so used to him hiding his feelings that when he does share his feelings, she finds it hard to believe him.

_britters_ - I'm glad you think Nick standing up for Viola and saying he loves her is amazing. The series of events that he's been through with her have helped establish what he feels for her. I gathered what I remembered from watching Nick and his siblings eat together from House of Carter's and also incorporated a bit of what I've experienced from eating with my family into dinner.

One of the reasons I wrote Kim in was to have the dinner be all female rather than have his 3 sisters and Leslie's boyfriend. At the time I wrote it, I heard rumors that Leslie and Mike weren't together anymore and I almost mentioned it in part 54 but held back from Leslie saying they weren't together anymore. Plus I wanted to give a taste of how Nick would handle women throwing themselves at him even though he's in a relationship. I hope Nick doesn't cheat on Viola. He would be a total dumbass if he cheats on the mother of his kids but what do I know? This story has a life of its own sometimes.

Viola has a lot of issues and I admit even I'm having issues writing her lately. One of the things I'm paranoid about doing in my writing is being repetitive. Thanks for bringing to my attention that you've noticed I've been writing the same thing over and over. I do want Viola's character to evolve and grow into her full potential but at the same time I don't want her to stray too much from who she is in the first place. I don't want her to change too fast because I feel a person doesn't just change overnight. Some people take longer to change. For Nick, what helped changed him was going through so many obstacles and realizing he wanted Viola for more than just sex.

I do appreciate you letting me know what you think from a readers stand point. It helps a lot. As I've said, I rarely get feedback nowadays so I do value the few feedback I receive.

Lollie & Nich - Thank you both for thinking this chapter was awesome. I invested a lot of thought into making sure I wrote it the way I visualized it in my mind. I used a lot of what I remembered from watching House of Carter's and how Nick's sister's interacted with him. The impression I got from Angel, BJ, and Leslie on House of Carter's is they're not afraid to say their opinions no matter how hurtful they can be. I remembered in one episode where Angel, BJ, and Leslie were watching footage of Leslie performing on stage and Angel and BJ mocked how Leslie performed in a not so nice way. Also in some interviews the 5 of them did to promote House of Carter's, I remember Angel saying how she was protective over who her brother's dated. I think there was a clip where Nick was trying to call a girl he saw on myspace and Angel grabbed his phone and hung up the call before the girl could answer lol

As I mentioned in my response to _britters_ feedback, part of the reason I wrote Kim in the story was to have the dinner be all female and Nick as the only male. Plus at the time I wrote the part, I saw rumors online that Leslie and Mike weren't together anymore and I thought about incorporating that into the plot but decided not to.(Which I'm glad I didn't since Leslie is pregnant & is still with Mike.) I also thought it would be more entertaining to have Kim, who is obviously attracted to Nick, than Mike who would have just served as an extra and someone who would've just protected Leslie.

I think it's interesting you both thought putting Kim in this part was perfect where as _britters_ felt it wasn't the right time. The purpose of Kim was a way for me to show that Nick loves Viola and isn't interested in side dishes at this point in his life. I also put Kim in to play upon Viola's insecurities. From watching Keeping Up With The Kardashian's and Kendra on E!, I saw how when Kourtney and Kendra were pregnant, they were both so insecure about themselves.

It's so hard to reply to feedback. I get paranoid that I might say too little or too much. As I mentioned to Jessica, I don't think Aaron is completely over Viola and he's still fixated on his fantasy of her. (The story is called Fantasy/Reality :p)

Nick, Viola, and his family will have a lot to sort out. It won't be easy. I know how difficult it is to explain a situation to family and them not understanding AND not wanting to understand what really happened. Nick & Viola telling his sisters was only the beginning. There's still millions of people (Nick's fans lol) set to find out.

Don't worry about the long-ness of the comment. Keep them coming please :) I love long comments and I appreciate what I can get. I rarely get feedback so I appreciate the few I get. It shows me that you really read and gave some thought into analyzing it.

I'm sooooo sorry that I kept you both waiting for so long! I hope you both didn't die of suspense while trying to wait :-[
